About VDI 3400
VDI 3400 refers to the texturing standard set by the Verein Deutscher Ingenieure (VDI). While primarily processed via Electrospark Machining (EDM), it can also be achieved through chemical etching and sandblasting.
Commonly used values include: VDI 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, 36, 39, 42, 45.
SPI Finish: Grades A1-A3, B1-B3, C1-C3, and D1-D3 for steel and plastic surfaces.
